I have been walking with families as an out-of-hospital midwife for 10 years. I came to midwifery because I love babies. I don’t know how our culture and world can ever grow or evolve until every baby born is met with tenderness, love, and respect in their first moments on this earth.

Everything I do grows from here.

I have found so much joy sharing my most geeky self with my clients (and friends) over the years. I obsess over the current guidelines, evidence, and recommendations so I can share them with you in terms you understand so you can use this information in making decisions for your family. My approach is one of non-judgement. Only you know what choices are right for you and your family,

Before I was a midwife, I was a stay-at-home-mom of three kids. They are all adults now, and they are the sun and the moon and the stars to me.

I have never done something so challenging and rewarding as being their mom.

I love talking to other parents about all of the chaos, joy, heartbreak, beauty, frustration, tedium, brilliance, fear, and absolute wonder of the whole process.
